Yayoi Kusama’s Largest-Ever Pumpkin Sculpture on Display in Shanghai, China

Yayoi Kusama’s Life of the Pumpkin Recites, All About the Biggest Love for the People (2019) will be displayed at the North Bund in Shanghai, China, from November 12 to November 17, 2024. This artwork, crafted as an inflatable work, reaches over 10 meters in height and spans 10 meters in diameter, making it the largest of Kusama’s pumpkin works to date.
